The Flowserve Logix 500 digital positioner represents the next generation of the intrinsically safe Logix 500 family. The positioner comes in two main models.
The non-communication models Logix 505si and Logix 510 positioner are a 4-20 mA analog positioner that offers the advantages of digital control (e.g. easy calibration).
The Logix 520MD Series Positioner is a family "smart" digital positioner that communicates via the HART® protocol.
The MD Series offers various diagnostic functionality build in the Positioner. With Flowserve's ValveSight® DTM Software, the Logix 520MD Series offers all different types of off-line and on-line diagnostics
