Production Well

Steam and geothermal brine present very difficult operating conditions for pumps, valves and mechanical seals. Corrosive salts and heavy metals require careful consideration when checking equipment design and materials of construction.

Flowserve offers several vertical pump models that deliver reliable and extended operations in production well service. Pumps are available in a wide range of configurations, hydraulics and maximize efficiency while meeting site requirements. Mixed flow, vertical wet-pit pumps in pullout and non-pullout designs and deep-well submersible motor pumps are frequently specified. These pumps are complemented with Flowserve high- temperature mechanical seals, isolation and control valves.

Flowserve specializes in valves made from materials designed to withstand the corrosive and erosive environments presented by salts and heavy metals. To protect pumps against reverse flow, Flowserve offers a full complement of check valves including lift, swing and tilting disc configurations. Low pressure multi-turn and quarter-turn valves can be custom configured for isolation and control applications.
