The Flowserve Serck Audco Twin Isolation Plug Valve (TIPV) is the solution when a compact and reliable DB&B is required on demanding applications.
TIPV benefits from all the proven integrity of the Super-H pressure balanced plug valve and also provides genuine bubble-tight double isolation capability within a single valve body.
With the Double Block & Bleed system, the operator can prove effectiveness of valve isolation before carrying out any maintenance downstream the valve, in line with Heath and Safety regulations. DB&B is also commonly used in manifolds to ensure that no contamination is occurring.
The TIPV is a compact design having the same face to face dimension as a single valve and so it can usually replace a single valve without the need for pipe work modification. The size and weight saving advantages of the TIPV are of key importance where installation space is limited.
TIPV is firesafe to API 6FA, and is available in the same size/pressure/materials options as the Super-H including hard facing options for erosive applications and variations for NACE sour services.
TIPV differs from DIPV in the plug orientation, either of these 2 types of valves can be selected depending on installation layout.
