Rotary Valve technology has emerged. Flowserve Rotary Control Valves offer significant advantages over traditional rising-stem control-valve selections: Compact, Lightweight, Economical, Class VI shutoff, Wide rangeability, and low-to-zero environmental emissions.
The V-ported plug for control gives equal-percentage characteristic, and a Cv that matches system needs. One-piece plug and stem, and the exclusive Sure-Grip (tm) valve coupling ensure that there is no lost motion between the valve and actuator. The Positioner is also directly coupled to the actuator stem, so the positioner sees the true valve position, with no chance for error. Piston or Electrical actuators are dynamically stiff, and ensure accurate response.
