The Flowserve Edward Bolted Cover Piston Check Valve is small bore, forged and equipped with a bolted cover to provide easy maintenance. This valve is created with certain features and a unique design that allows it to work efficiently and consistently. These features include:
- Positive sealing with a spiral wound gasket
- Ease of assembly due to the use of a four-bolt design
- Ensured proper alignment with the pilot extension found in the cover
- Prevention of over-compression of the gasket from a positive metal to metal stop
- Positive shutoff and long seat life due to an integral hardsurfaced seat
- Minimized flow direction changes and reduced pressure drop from the use of optimized flow passages
- Eliminated misalignment and galling by utilizing anti-thrust rings
Available in class 800 and 1500 from sizes 1/2 to 2 inches.
