Triple Treatment Refines Reliability
Using Flowserve systems, a petroleum company is able to improve their compressor service life from 20 days to five years.
Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex), a state-owned owned petroleum company, was experiencing dry gas seal failures due to face contamination. These failures caused a disruptive outage for the company. Pemex turned to Flowserve sealing systems to help resolve their seal failures.
Flowserve made two recommendations to help Pemex solve these failures – to install a Flowserve Ampliflow seal-gas booster system and a Flowserve Cleanpac pre-filter system.
